I thought I'd be able to make it through the article without a reading a negative comment towards UIC...how we don't compare to UIUC...sure, it's the truth, but was it really necessary?
Nevertheless, awesome article. I'm glad the Fury is growing and getting attention. The fan willing to travel to Tennessee was pretty cool. Hopefully, he'll be a basketball regular.
As always, the proof will be the attendance at the men's basketball games. It's one thing to have 2000 members, but if you only have 75 of those being active, there's really no difference. The key is to increase attendance...not just have good attendance the first game of the year, and then normal attendance every other game after that (i.e., soccer). But, things are improving...no doubt.
For as long as this soccer team is ranked, there should be more than 250 people out there watching.

It's pretty cool seeing the Fury in the SunTimes. Not sure if anyone is aware of it (probably not), but we also just got our own office space at UIC. 380-R, Student Center East.....stop by and say whats up!
