Yea, word around the campfire... is it's going to be collum and white next year... and they're going to be crazy....
Collum White Poole Bowen Stefanov...
that's who i think will be starting... stefanov seems up in the air but he's getting a hell of a lot of playing time this year, which really surprised me....
Poole is only goin to get better, he trained a lot this summer, lost a whole buncha a weight, and he's going to get better next year too....
armond, looks out of shape... seems him sitting out the first games affected his game...
petrusic, wow, im glad they're keeping him on the bench...
mcghee, prolly wouldnt' havent gotten much playing time since collum is back...
as for recruits, i know a few people that watch Western Big 6 high school basketball conference, the one Alleman is in with that big guy that's interested in UIC? Well they say he's awful... and they laughed at me when i said that UIC was looking at him pretty hard... they said he's just tall, but basically a Thor.. lol and that can't be good. Anyone remember this guys name from Alleman?

I think with the way Bowen is playing, he will not be starting next year. Look for Jeffers to start right away at SF. Now maybe Bowen will improve towards the end of the year but I just don't see Jeffers coming off the bench. McGee would be good to have next year, as he could move to SG behind White (and push/challenge White)...while Collum and Mayo take the point. Who else do we have at SG....I don't think anybody... As for the Alleman recruit, I think you're referring to Lance Young... www.highschoolelite.com/2005/young.html

Look at his numbers this year in the Western Big 6. Nothing impressive.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's getting a scholarship....his numbers aren't that bad...of course, for high-schoolers, I'm not sure how they stack up with other good big men..... 13.0 points/game 7.0 rebounds/game 2.71 blocks/game 1.43 assists/game 0.86 steals/game 1.57 turnovers/game

Big D, if what you say is true of the new recruits, then I'm excited. Looking at this team this year, it seems obvious to me what we lack. We don't have shooters, our big guys underneath aren't big enough. I hope they can live up to their expectation early.

I really don't want to see White play PG. Look at him tonight against Cleveland State. He was put in to play PG, and he did things that was un PGlike and Collins took him out. I want to see him play SG. I think that's where he can really excel.
