North Carolina beat Jacksonville 1-0. Looks like we will be heading to Chapel Hill for our game Sunday.

UNC just beat Jacksonville 1-0. I'm still holding out hope that we'll get to host this weekend.
After looking at what UNC has done this year, I'm shocked that they are one of the 16 seeded teams!! Coming into the NCAA tourney, they were on a 5 game losing streak! How do you lose 5 in a row to end the season and be considered one of the top 16 teams in the country?!

I would say it's a lot of crap, but I can kind of understand where they are coming from. They play in the ACC with power house teams. They are ranked fairly well in their region, whereas UIC is ranked #10 in their region (which is bull, being placed #10 in the region, but like #15 in the rankings, and being behind DePaul among others!). It comes to being a bigger name, in the ACC, and their RPI is a lot lower. Either way, I do think it's garbage, but it is hard when our RPI suffers because of Detroit such.

random note, my Business Communications professor played for UNC soccer a LONG time ago and went to a national title game with them.

Is the UIC game even going to be available to watch online? I am hoping so but neither UICFlames.com or the UNC athletics page says anything about following the game besides Game Tracker.

Well, if you look at the NCAA brackets, they show all of the games and the games with a little camera on them are broad casted live online. The UIC / UNC game does not have one. The odds of being able to watch this game do not look good.

Game has been moved up to 5:00 central time and location has changed as well. Apparently the UNC pitch is in bad shape and the game has been moved to a stadium in Cary, NC.
