Wisconsin-Madison expected to hire Trask

UIC needs to find their niche or provide something that is different than everybody else. The blue turf at Boise State, Oregon's uniforms, etc. are often draws for those schools.

Make a new version of Phi Slama Jama and you'll have your team. If there are so many x's & o's teams...do the opposite...
- Athleticism over fundamental skills
- Fast breaks over set plays
- Dunking over the jump shot.

My point is traditional does not work for us, so be creative and think out of the box. What can it hurt at this point in time?

Oregon's niche isn't their uniforms as much as the fact that Nike bank rolls their athletics.
