I have not been on here in a while. Lost the site for a while but found it again. Well last time I was on here the Panthers were 2-1 in conference. What a change a few weeks can bring. UWM smokes Purdue and is now 15-4 and running away with conference. Meanwhile, UIC is losing games to Wright St and UWGB. Hahahhah I love it. UWM is clearly the elite team in the conference as I noted at the beginning of the year. Cant wait to beat up on little ole UIC on the 5th

Gee, welcome back. Can't say I missed you. Times like these I really wished I had rubbed it in on UWM fans when we stormed the court last year.

Hey leaguer just remember that one more lose for UWM and there is no chance of making it in without the tourny and as you all know anything can happen when its one game. So feel cocky now but dont think its in the bag, remember last year, you were in first then and lost it all in one game. LOL

So feel cocky now but dont think its in the bag, remember last year, you were in first then and lost it all in one game. LOL One more loss and they have NO shot at an at large bid??? Are you on drugs. We have wins at Manhattan, St Louis, and Big 10 Purdue to go along wiht other wins against Air Force, on the road in conference at UIC, Butler and Detroit and after this weekend GB...I would say that is a pretty damn good resume. They look at road games and SOS and playing Kansas and UW only helped us whether we lost or not. We went on the road and played excellent competition and we won a majority of those games. If we lose one more game in conference pretty sure they will not penalize us and say we have NO shot you idiot. I will flat out tell you UWM will not run the table. We WILL lose one more game. Its not that easy to go 15-1 and still having to go to WSU and GB is gonna be tough and Loyola has been playing good ball and we have to travel there as well not to mention playing you guys at our place and Butler still, I would say we still have one more loss left in us. We will win bracket buster and finish conference 6-1 from here on out. That leaves us 22-4. Pretty sure that will get us a look for an at large bid. Also we would have home court advantage which would be a huge help. This yeras team is NOTHING like last yeras team, we are far deeper and more talented and a year more experienced. UIC on the other hand.....Well I wont even go there....I am more worried about WSU and GB then UIC thats for sure.... LIke I said before DOMINATION

And its only getting better for UWM...They will only be tougher next year when they return four of there five starters. Hill, Davis, Tucker, Tigert are all back and we get the stud center FINALLY...Walter Waters was Ben Howlands number one recuit at Pitt and then when he left so did Waters. We landed him and he is going to dominate in this pathetic little league. He stands 6-10 260lbs and will be a man among boys. UWM stands a chance to run the table next year in conference if everything falls in there lap. The program continues to make strides and get better unlike some programs...

Your win at a weak purdue, is like our win at north western last year. Get over your high self, you win at St. Louis who cares, Air Force had their top player missing. If you read your own board once in a while they will also say only one team has a chance of going this year and its the team that wins the HLC. And I agree you should not be worried about us in fact forget about us. Just like three years ago when everyone forgot about us and Loyola, you dumb f@#!. Your team must win out to get an at large who cares about the Horizon league, at least that's what the commite is thinking, plus the HL looks even worse when Butler the star of this confrence gets smoked by CSU. Good luck getting in the tourny without the HL tourny title.

Apparently Butler is the stud of the conference. When were they in the dance last???
I am also glad we have someone on this board that knows exactly what the committee wants and looks for. Spike yo might be the biggest dumbf@#! I have ever debated with. Your in complete and total denial that UWM is the powerhouse of the conference seeing as they are on there way to a third straight conference title and there third straight 20+ win season and there third straight post season.....ITS VERY OBVIOUS you dips@#!

HLer...watch yourself.
We have a strict "we can swear and you can't rule" here.
Also, we love to have UWM and other fans on to talk about basketball, but to come on and gloat is moronic. There's no use for that.

We have a strict "we can swear and you can't rule" here. Lol that's funny as hell. As for this argument that's going on, this is what I have to say about it: UWM powerhouse this year? : Yes, I agree, UWM is the strong team this year, and I would even say they are the strongest team by far. At large bid: I believe you may be able to lose another game or two actually, as long as their not to boner teams which shouldnt happen, but lets remember butler a few years back, they had an amazing record an didnt make it, but your schedule is way tougher. Comment on Butler: Yes i think Butler brought some publicity to the HL and they were the strongest team for a few years, but not anymore. Next year: UWM is once again going to be strong, UIC is once again going to be in the position to either BE JUST AS STRONG, or BONER IT UP AGAIN LIKE THIS YEAR. it's usually hit or miss with UIC, always has been, always will be, lol. Final note though: Yes, he is right about losing it one game a few years back.... it was loyola and uic... it's really difficult to predict these things being in a weak conference this year, but unless UWM wins every game the rest of the year except the tournament final, then theres obviously only going to be one HL team in the tournament once again.

Hey Jason and Spike, sorry I was a bit drunk when I wrote that last night. I am sure you all can empathize with that. Anyway my only point is if we lose to GB this weekend on the road after we have beaten them by 30 already and they are second in our conference and 15-5 and 7-2 overall and wiht it being an intrastate rivalry I cant see that hurting our at large bids to much. Our losses have come to pretty decent teams RPI wise. Detroit, Wisconsin, Kansas, and the only one that semi hurt us was the one point loss eraly in the yera on the road to Valpo is who is also playing better ball right now. Last year we lost to teams like YSU and with Butler a few years back when they were 25-5 they lost a few games in conference to teams like UWM who was not supposed to be all that great and di dnot have a great RPI at hte time. That really hurt them.
For the conference tourney it will really help having home court advantage. I know we lost last year to you guys but remmemeber star player Dylan Page hurt with an ankle injury was not 100%. I am not trying ot make excuses but we are a tougher team and a better team this year. It will certainly show IMO. Anyway, good luck

there's no doubt that UWM is the powerhouse of the league this year. But as we've learned in year's past, the Horizon League gets little respect from the Tourny Committee. Even though the league's RPI Ranking versus non-conference teams was #2 (behind only the A-10) I'd venture to guess that once again only 1 Horizon League team makes the Tourny this year.
If UWM makes it to the finals of the Conference Tournament and loses, they may be a bubble team. If they lose anywhere before that, it's back to NIT for a 2nd straight year.

The only thing that the UWM victory in Milwaukee means is that they'll have a 12 seed instead of a 13-- IF they win the conference tourney.

HL, I agree your the best team this year, how can anyone say different you have taken most by double digits in all your games, and when I refered to one more lose, I should have said a few but if you lose more then two, The commity will look right passed the HL if you dont win the tourny. I agree having the home court is huge I love the way the HL came up with this idea it makes the confrence championship mean something. Anyways all Im saying is this confrences RPI is so low its hard to believe they will give a second look to UWM if they dont win our tourny. However you should be the faviorts its just I dont believe the number 1 team has won the tourny in years, Last year UIC, the year before u guys, then US. Its been sometime, makes it hard to do it everynight.
