Is there going to be a bus going from UIC? not quite sure if anyone would be willing to go if there's no school-sponsored transportation.

Yea, no s@#!, and 20 dollars for a team that hasn't been playing $5.00 worth.. plus gas, plus the possibility of being seen in that little crappy town...

Welp, now that UWM lost at UWGB, this game becomes even bigger. We now stand in 3rd place at 5-4. UWM and UWGB both have 2 losses. Things could get interesting if we can beat them both.
I wish I could make it up there for the game, but I have other obligations.
i think we're lucky that UWM has Wright State during the week. Hopefully they can take out their frustration on them. Of course, they won't have any trouble getting excited to play us.
It should be a good one. We need to avenge our loss from earlier this year.

It would be nice to pull this game out but Im thinking its not going to happen. UWM will probably lose to WSU, but there is a small chance we are walking away with a victory at UWM, i hope it happens but im not going to hold by breath. We just need to win out after that game and will be ok.

Okay, I am in. Come on, I know that some other people are going? Anybody? Two of my friends have gone to a few games with me and now they're hooked So road trip, and if we UIC wins, it will be all worth it.

I think that they could. I think that we have the talent to win. But when it comes down to it, what team will show up? Against Butler we had good passing, we found the open man, we played so well. I know that Butler is down, but we still played very good. But will that team show up? Or will we get down early, the crowd get in their heads, and get blown out? Who knows but we'll find out soon

Those of us going should meet up at Turner's or Major Goolsby's before the game.
An interesting tidbit is that Major Goolsby's has a UIC Flames Hockey Stick above one of their doors.

Gosh, I wish I could go, but I have proir obligations. I really want to go to support the team. Maybe I can get out of it. For those who are going, make lots of noise. And try to get a chant going with the other fans. Create something when you are all there. Make our pressence felt.
Collins obvious had this game in mind when he schedule this. We have a week off to prepare for this. UWM has a game on Wednesday. So, we have an advantage there.

Where is Turner's or Major Goolsby's? Are they bars? The people I am going with are minors But I am buying my tickets through UIC, so I hope that some of us are there!

Ahh, minors. I forget.
They are both right across the street from the US Cell Arena.

You can get into Goolsby's with minors. It's a bar/restaurant. Great burgers, better atmosphere for pre-game IMO.
Seems to be the preferred stop for visiting fans, too ... I've seen Detroit, Wright State and UWGB fans there so far this season.
Convenient since it's right across the street. Turner's is down the street a little bit, across from the Bradley Center.

Ahh, I would if I could. However, one of the girls I am going with has to do a housing thing at the dorms until 11:30 so I'll be rushing to get there for opening tip off. But I should be in attendance!
