Maybe you don't know much about internet technology, but it doesn't take much to write a script that edits cuss words out. In fact, yours was censored automatically. It's also not difficult to write a script that notifies proboards of content that they don't want to be a part of. That's how the filter out hate-filled boards, such as anti-black or gay, or such.
It's really simple, and they will do it. They offer a free service, they have no need to be affiliated with stupidity and hate.
None of us have yet to edit a thing. We have deleted multiple posts and changed a subject to reflect the actual subject. You're overreacting, and if you don't cool down and get back on track, you're going to find yourself not welcome here. This is the last post I will make concerning this pure stupidity.
Private Message me if you want.

so far if my math is correct...
SCHOOL NCAA'S NIT'S TOTAL UIC 3 1 4 UWM 1 1 2
UWM is definitely a program on the rise, but the numbers don't lie.

UWM doesn't seem to have a sense of history whatsoever. It's all about right now...whoo.

Not that it matters much but but if you want a historical synopsis of the UWM-UIC series ... UWM leads 25-17.
Geez, fans living in the now? Isn't that what you're supposed to do?
If you want to live in the past, root for our crosstown brethren still wearing the leisure suits and polyester pants, harkening for the glory years of the 70s.

I'd argue that those totals are from recent and not from years past.
Over the past 10 years, UIC has been far more successful than UWM in terms of getting to the post season.
Just remember, UWM's post-season ticket has not been stamped yet. All it takes is 1 bad game to get sent back to the NIT again.

Maybe the two Jasons can get together to straighten this out ... are UWM fans supposed to live in the past or live in the now?

I think this is all a silly argument. UIC owned this league for a couple years. Butler owned it for many years before that. Now, UWM is clearly the cream of the crop this year. They've played really well. As a UIC fan, I had only hoped to see something that great from this team.
UWM isn't going to the dance unless they win the conference tourney. It's sad, but true. Maybe they will, maybe they won't.
We'll see.

UIC leads 14-13. So it's been fairly even. I don't know how you can consider UIC being "far" more successful. More successful? Yes. Far more successful? No.

Semantics aside...two pretty decent programs right now and in the few recent years. The one of them that first becomes Gonzaga or even Southern Illinois will truly own the league.
Someone needs to to be heads and tails above everyone else, and neither of these teams has EVER done that. No wins in the tournament, no really great records or rankings...both teams have received a few votes, etc.
I think its going to be a good race to see who can become an elite mid-major first, and UWM is ahead right now.

how did I start a silly arguement? I just posted stats on how many post season appearances each program has had in the last 10 years. (Which I'd consider present)

He probably means me. I started the silly argument when I said they lived in the past.

Let me try to bring eveyone back to the topic of this thread.
I think us, UIC, will be in trouble next year. We don't have anyone who can step up, and we don't have a consistent shooter. Unless Collum can be a true leader and improve on his shots, we are in trouble. White can be great for us. But he is not getting enough playing time this season. And he has a tendency of playing a one man game. Poole will be big, but he needs to get in better shape. Bowen has been a disappointment. Stevonov is good now. I hope he can get better. I hope our new recruits are quality products.
Can someone start a new thread and update on the recruits. Thanks.
