So what are everyones thoughts on tomorrow nights game? I think that coming off such a rough game, emotionally and physically, we are lucky to have YSU coming up tomorrow. It will give us time to regroup against a team that we should beat and hopefully close out this season on a winning note.
On a side note, anybody going? I actually have three people going tomorrow! Three exams on Friday, but hopefully, I can take a two hour break.

I wouldn't look past Youngstown State. It hurts to say that, but the way our team has been playing we could lose to Brother Rice if we played them.

I am in no way looking past them. I don't think any team should look past any team. I think that we learned that the hard way this season. At the same time, this is a game that we should win.

You two are crazy, this is a easy win. By 15+, there is no reason to think we would not win by at least 15. This team has done very little to improve themselves over the last 4 yrs. Im not over looking im just stating the facts, we will win.

See NFG, you always come in with such a down attitude. You also seem to forget that we didn’t have Rocky playing with us, and the fact that they were dead on from behind the arc. See it’s easy for someone to make fun of the fact that we lost, but with the way this team was lighting it up, most teams would have fallen.
And what other boner teams are you talking about? Duke, GT, Bowling Green who is having a great season, UWM who is the best in this conference, WSU who is ahead of us and very young, UDM another good team, that’s just not playing up to potential right now. Or maybe DePaul who played a hell of a better game then us. We lost to teams that most people lose to.
I guess everyone came into this year feeling we were going to be the best team, well no Martell, Carr, Scott really hurt us. But if you really think were going to get beat by YSU your crazy. In some other post I think I put down our Home record over the past 3 years. We had a winning percentage of over 85 so give me a break. This game will not be a problem.

Just that I, as I'm sure all of us had, huge expectations this year, and we have underperformed by a lot. Sure, we can't win every game, but my thing was that good teams pull out wins, and we honestly havent pulled anything out. A theory I have is any D1 team on any given day, their worst performance of the season, they should beat any DII team on their best game (ESPECIALLY UIC).... but i see your point... as for my down attitude - well im being realistic.... if you check back after the GT game and all the way up to a game or two after the first UWM game, i had nothing but high marks for this team.... in my opinion, this team deserves what they get right now.... they dont deserve a NIT bid, they honestly don't.. it's just that simple.. spike, i thought it was you that was upset half way through the season that was complaining with along the same points.. not positive about that.... basically if the team is playing to their potential, even if they're at .500, ill be happy.... but not this year.... last year i was so damn happy with the team that we had a damn 3 kegs at my place with over 100 people watching tv game on tv as you guys were all on the floor when we raped UWM... and when they were losing with mo brown and thor on the team, i was 1 of th 50 people at the game... so no one can question my status as a fan and yes, i still see Youngstown st, possibly making a case for themselves, especially after this season...

NFG, Im not questioning your status as a fan, I dont think you would be here if you werent. And your right I was really pissed with this team, but nows the point where I really feel we can go on a run. Lets face it were playing YSU, this will be a win, even if its not what I said earlier it will be a win. Then we have home games coming up, and I feel confident that this team will win. Sure we lost to UWM and it hurts, but the rest of the teams in the HL are not better then us.
UWGB has played all the bottom teams of this leauge, why we still have LU, BU, YSU, and CSU. Sure people can make cases for these other teams, but we all know they do not have the fire power we do. So right there we should have 4 more wins, maybe a lose to BU but the rest should be wins. Then were playing two games at home against BU and WSU, cant see those as loses. Can we grab second? I think so. Will we? Well will see about that.
But im not attacking you just wondering why everyone is so down when we have already played the better teams of this league.

Good, then hopefully I will see you in the HL finals when we're defending our crown, that we do still have. And yes, we need a run like last year, that would be huge.

I wouldn't look past Youngstown State. It hurts to say that, but the way our team has been playing we could lose to Brother Rice if we played them. I don't know about that. Bobby Frasor's been injured most of the year and Telander is playing at Loyola now. I think the line would be UIC -56.

Well Br. Rice is playing at the Pavillion Saturday Night, maybe we can get them to stick around to play our boys after they get back from Cleveland

I bet they get higher attendance at their game too. Gotta watch out for those Crusader Crazies!
