He probably still is, I think he was sitting in a row behind the bench next to Griffin Yaklich

Crazy we only lost be 11 - felt way worse than that watching live.
Feel like Rivera had an off night but will be better - and we need him to be. Otherwise this team will be a rough watch again offensively.
Also hoping that Kennedy comes back and add some stability. And did Yusuf Salih not play because of injury? He average close to 30min a game at Idaho so thought he’d play more.

All in all I thought Uic competed hard and made it somewhat of a game. For game 1 on the road against a traditionally tough team I thought it was acceptable. The shooting is a major concern. Kennedy had to have been hurt. Pickett was a pleasant surprise and Jones and Okani are very athletic. Fens I think played 2 min. Little Rock next

I agree that it was generally a good effort on the road against a power 5 school. I’ve said this before but I feel like we always have very little room for mistakes. When we make them, for some reason, we’re immediately down 8, 10, 12 points. We have got to get production from one of Brownell, Skobalj, and Fens each game. And we’re not going to win many with 3-point shooting like tonight. We really needed to hit some tonight to have a chance.
Little Rock at home is a must win game in the Valley. No more losses in situations like this. I think we can get a win if we play with the effort we put in tonight.

PFW is up 41-33 against DePaul at half. Will see if they can win but Jalen Jackson started and has 7pts, 5reb, and 2ast. Watching tail end of first half and PFW looks much better on both side of the ball than we do

Losing Jalen hurt badly. I really wish he would have stayed. He started for IPFW, who did end up beating DePaul.
Finished with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.

A backcourt of Cj and Jalen would have been nice. I thought that Jalen was someone who we could hand the ball of and let him handle the offense. He'll be good at PFW
Also Depaul... Just Lmao

And Jace Carter scored 8 points, had 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 19 minutes off the bench for Texas A&M in their season opener.

And Jace Carter scored 8 points, had 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 19 minutes off the bench for Texas A&M in their season opener. Amazing! Would be the number 1 option here had he stayed. Scouts will find you anywhere if you're good. Jace's numbers would easily be in the 22 ppg/7reb range. To go from being "The Man" on one team to a bench player on another, shows the power of NIL. They must be paying him a great deal more than UIC was!

Oh my DePaul only had 931 in attendance last night Seeing their attendance made me feel a little less bad about our team's attendance. And it did seem like a good amount of those fans were there to support PFW - as they have a handful of local kids on their team.

A combination our loss and the reminiscing of this thread -
Wondering where we would be if we had Jace and Jalen on this team.
Not starting a discussion, ha (if you want to, go for it), but just wondering.
