Who do you think the Bears should take in the upcoming draft?

I want them to get Mike Williams of USC. We need more playmakers on offense and especially at the WR position. However, with recent comments by Lovie Smith stating he wants to be even more of a running team, I really am not sure that is going to happen. We need more talent at WR. Granted, we have talent, but they can't seem to actually harness it. Mike Williams is my pick!

I like Mike Williams, but do you think he has some rust on him from not playing last season? They need a marquee name fans can get excited about. Williams does provide that.

I guess we can draft that WR from the Wolverins but Terell came from there and we dont need another one of those

Braylon Edwards from Michigan. I don't know. Everythin about him reminds me of Terrell and we cannot possibly have that again. I am sure that Williams probably has some rust on him, but he has the talent and ability. We really need a big time offensive player, IMO. And with Terrell being a free agent, we could replace him right there.

I don't know football like I know basketball, but I think it would be bad to go any other direction than Mike Williams.

Michigan produces very good NFL QBs and usually produce lacklaster WRs. David Terell, Anthony Carter, Desmond Howard, etc.

(Before anyone jumps on this, Tom Brady is a serviceable NFL QB, but he flat out doesn't win without Belichek)

Tom Brady is a serviceable NFL QB This could go down as one of the biggest understatements this board has ever seen. Is Peyton Manning slightly better than average? Brett Favre just OK? Brady has been Super Bowl MVP not once, but twice.........that seems a bit better than serviceable to me........

The Tom Brady argument will always be made, IMO. The argument won't necessarilly be if Brady is good or not, but just how good. How good would Manning be if you simply put him in Brady's shoes? If Manning had the defense that the Patriots do, then what? But at the same time, Brady wins wins and wins. It's also hard for me to respect all of Manning's stats while playing a dome. Do not get me wrong, but stats like that would be much more impressive playing in Chicago or Green Bay, or even a dome in a warm weather stadium. But when it comes down to it, Tom Brady just wins and I'll take a QB who wins 75% of the time he steps on the field and 100% of the time in the playoffs.
