Just a thought. All those consecutive wins and Horizon League titles surely set us apart from the rest of the league but we never, NEVER won an NCAA round match. Is there THAT much disparity between our level of play and the NEXT level at the NCAA level?

I'd think the same thing. In 17 years and...nothing at the NCAA level! Now to me, THAT'S the amazing stat!

After further research I have found a lot of other schools like us with many appearances and no wins. There IS a disparity among the "haves" and "have nots" as you progress. Stanford is the women's standard bearer with 16 titles and several others always contending. Even with our win streak and success we are routinely, and rightfully so, seeded low and have to play a ranked or contender in our first round, as #12 ranked Northwestern this year.
We are 0-14 in NCAA appearances per the NCAA records site....our league achievements are impressive and should be congratulated and hopefully continued. Our NCAA time will come and should not be the measure of success of the program.
