Just so all of you know, Proboards will soon be releasing the latest version of their proboard software. The official release date is unknown at this point and I will keep you guys updated. Each of the boards will be upgraded automatically and while they are being upgraded, the boards will not be accessible. So, if it goes down for a while, have no fear, it'll be back up and ready before you know it. There are tons of new features being implemented in the next version which should make this board even more fun to use....

Proboards Version 4 has a release date set for April 30th. It may take up to a week before all servers are updated with v4.
There may be some board downtime that week....I have no idea....I'm guessing at least a day when our server is being upgraded...

This board will be upgraded from version 3 to version 4 sometime between May 9th and May 13th. The board will likely be down at least one of those days for upgrades.

Our server upgrade has been delayed for the time being as the guy doing the upgrades has gotten sick and is in bed recovering....
Some are guessing next week but who knows....

OK, this should be the final update from me, but it looks as if the proboards upgrade guy is feeling better and that upgrades have resumed. Right now, upgrades to boards on servers 21-27 are in progress. Since we're on server 28 (note the proboards28 in our URL), we're likely to be upgraded in the next couple days, at which point you will see an upgrade message when trying to come here.
Just something to keep in mind. After the upgrade, everyone will be required to enter an activation code....this was implemented for security purposes but I can't figure out how it helps security. Anyway, when you login for the first time after the upgrade, the activation code will be sent to your email account, much like when you first registered. So, for those of you using AOL, yahoo, or some other email which filters proboards email as spam, be on the lookout for this email....everytime you change your email address in your profile, you will have to reactivate (I assume nobody will be making this a habit).
If anyone has any problems activating, just post here....
Thanks...
