Getting fans to the CSU game...

OK guys, we've had some rough times as of late but I think we should start at least trying to get some people to the games. We already know we cannot count on the Fury for this. I'm still in shock that they were nowhere to be found at the Depaul game.
Now of course the casual UIC fan will only know about big losses to Duke, Depaul, GT, and because of this they probably think we have a bad team. This is why I think it is good to get some fans out to these easier conference games where they are likely to see some good play. Then, maybe they will like what they see and decide to attend again.
Since we've never done this before, maybe we can post in this thread about actual things we can do to get fans out....not just talk this time, but things that will be done. If you're willing to help please post here....I cannot really as I am on the east coast but I made a very simple flyer for the game...maybe with some modification, it can just be passed out or put up.
So I recommend, for starters, a three-pronged attack, whicih includes previously mentioned ideas:
1) Somebody post an announcement about the game at tigger.uic.edu/announce/. Maybe an announcement once every few days about getting a student group to the game...maybe people can meet up at a bar if that's what you guys like to do. Only students can post here so hopefully we have a student willing to do it.
2) Get some chalk and write about the game on the campus....I'm not sure if there are rules about this but I always saw political stuff written down....so maybe in the middle of campus....in front of CCC and by the dorms. By the eL would be good too but those people are less likely to attend as they are the commuters.
3) Hang up some posters and pass some out in the dorms. This would probably be most effective. Honestly the best thing anybody could do would be to just start networking in the dorms and just ask people if they'd be interested in seeing a game....this is a good reason for the booth. But if those are hard to get, then we have to do the next best thing.
So, anybody think this is a good idea....would anybody be willing to take the initiative?
