Well we finally got fired up tonight, and I don't think it was Coach Collins. Whoever it was on Saginaw that was elbowed Armond seemed to get the team pretty fired up. Hopefully Armond won't get suspended for throwing the punch, we'll need him. Although it looks like UDM just had their UW-Parkside-type loss, losing to Chicago St. tonight....

From what I heard it looks like Armond will be out for the Detroit game. Also not confirmed but it looks like MaGee is out for the season for grades, but I was told well see about it. So im not sure if its a grade thing or something else. Lets hope Rocky can play well. He did look good tonight making some nice plays.
We looked good as a whole but your supposed to against a D2 school. Banks hit some nice shots but still seems a little bothered by something. Other then that it was a boring game, but ill take a boring game over a loss to Parkside anyday.

Detroit is now 3-7 with the loss to Chicago State. I wouldn't call that comparable with the UW-Parkside loss for the Flames. Since Detroit entered the game at 3-6 (and since it WAS a road game for the Titans), that's the kind of non-conference team Chicago State should beat on their home court, if that Chicago State team is going to win any games at all.
It is noteworthy Chicago State has played tons of non-conference games on the road. It's hard to tell how good that team "really is" at home when they have only played two home games so far into their season.

we better sweep detroit this season...if not, i'll be very, very upset because everyone knows they will smoke us for the next 2 years when cotton comes along... hopefully othyus jeffers is the monster everyone's talking about. he's very popular among recruiters and everyone that has provided a review of him seem 100% positive that he is the real deal...

They are coming along very slowly and they are still one of the worst programs in the country, but they are less of a joke than they used to be. Still, it was a bad loss for Detroit. MOPSqaud Sports. Cotton is eligible and playing. I believe he scored 27 points in his debut against Eastern Michigan. He transferred out of MSU in time to register for second semester classes at Detroit last year. Consequently, he became eligible when first semester ended. www.detroittitans.com/mbasketball.jsp?id=1103599075803

Mr. Cotton led them to a loss at Chicago State last night.. Mr. Superman had 12 points and 5 turnovers..
He might be good, but I think its a bit early for them to annoint him the savior..
