Horizon League Basketball-Fun Facts NEEDED

Hey Flames fans here is a chance to get some exposure. My favorite sports site www.deadspin.com has a feature where they highlight each NCAA college conference with 5 "fun, interesting facts" So lets make sure we give them enough facts for the Horizon league, or UIC most specifically.

For example.. I have submitted the following

"In 1965 the UIC team became known as the Chikas, based on the Chickasaw tribe of Native Americans. During the mid-1970s Chikas was dropped for a couple of reasons, one being that it was not politically correct but secondly because of the stigma of other teams knocking them...chicas in Spanish translates as girls. And UIC has since changed it's name to Flames which carries no stigma what so ever

So yeah I am sure someone will suggest the whole bruce pearl jimmy collins thing. or bruce is a homeboy... but there have to be some ofther interesting facts. Send them in and post them on here.

Well, based on that tattoo example... Here's one.

Karl White has a tattoo of a basketball with a crown on it. This is a revised tattoo, initially it was an ad for taco burrito king, but after a falling out over a free burito, White had the tattoo changed from a burrito into a basketball.
