Merry Christmas all.
Hope you had a nice holiday and we can all receive the present of the Flames picking it up and having a productive conference season.

That will be hard with so many fair-weather fans ready to jump ship at the slightest adversity.

Losing to UWP merits disgrace. I don't think people are falling off the bandwagon, but they are hanging their heads in shame. As much as I hate to say it, now is the time for our rivals to gloat. I just hope our guys keep it in mind during HL tourney time.

The only thing disgraceful is the attitude of these so-called fans. Funny that people who were probably the last person selected for teams in gym class have so much to say about how this team should play, how Jimmy Collins should coach, and how terrible it is to lose to another team.

Funny that people who were probably the last person selected for teams in gym class have so much to say about how this team should play, how Jimmy Collins should coach, and how terrible it is to lose to another team. I tend to disagree with this. Just because some of us aren't great basketball players does not mean we can't be critical of our team. I mean, we can all recognize poor attitude and poor performance and clearly we should not be losing games to teams like UWP....period. If these losses occur then something is wrong...whether it's coaching or the players or both....who knows. Are you saying that we can't rip on the Cubs because we aren't great baseball players....or on the Bears because we're not great football players? If this is the case, then no team would ever catch any flak because 99% of the fans of these teams cannot play the respective game very well.... And I don't think anybody from this board is jumping ship....UIC has its permanent fans and then it has its bandwagon fans who show up for the HL championship and games like GT. I don't think you'll find too many bandwagon fans here. Just because we're disappointed and critical does not mean we don't want to be fans anymore.
