This is off-topic, since this has nothing to do with Flames basketball specifically.
Both HL teams have tough first-round opponents in the Big Dance. And I disagree with both teams' seeds. Butler is a 6th-8th seeded team. And Wright State deserved a 12th seed instead of the 14th seed. The Raiders will get an early exit thanks to Pitt. And Butler will become the upset victim of a definite game with the 12th seeded team winning.

I agree with you on the seedings as they're both off. BU too high and WSU too low.
As for the matchups, having seen Pittsburgh play about 6 times this year, WSU is going to get murdered. As for the ODU, BU matchup, I have no idea. If ODU has any kind of inside game or a decent guard defender on ball, Butler is in trouble. I don't know a thing about ODU, though.

I disagree with Jason T on the seedings. I think Butler is pretty much where they should be, while I thought Wright State deserved a 13.
WSU might get beat by Pitt, I don't think it will be like it was when they played Indiana in '93. No 30-40 point blowout. There's been so much parity in college basketball lately that those kinds of blowouts don't happen as often as they used to.
As for Butler, I have them going to the Sweet Sixteen where they'll match up with Florida. The Bulldogs are out of conference again, and with the time off to recoop there game, they'll be like the Butler team of the preseason NIT ilk.
