If anyone's interested, UIC has posted a few dozen pictures of Les Miller Field as it's being equipped with Field Turf. Looks pretty nice. We clearly have one of the best baseball facilities in all of college baseball with the skyline and now the new and improved turf. UIC baseball deserves it, as they've been one of the few consistent bright spots in UIC athletics. This should definitely help recruiting... uicflames.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/100907aac.html

The field was a pile of dirt for a good part of the summer, and like everyone else in the neighborhood, I'm glad to see they are wrapping things up. It does look extremely nice, and I hope it helps make the baseball Flames even more competitive.

With the improvement of the baseball team, the League titles, the national exposure and more students living on campus, it would behoove the athletic department to put in more seats.
