From the Chicago Tribune today:
At the University of Illinois at Chicago, fixed-rate tuition will jump 9.5 percent to $8,130 a year. Fees will be an additional $2,384 a year.
Does any current student (or anyone else) know how much of the Fees goes to support the Athletic Dept.? Just curious. /

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but that is over a $1000 increase in fees, up from $1301. Where is all this money going? Here's the breakdown of the current "fees" from the uic site... General Fee: $394 Student to Studen Fee: $3 Service Fee: $304 Health Service Fee: $104 Health Insurance Fee (waivable): $401 CTA U Pass Fee: $95 www.uic.edu/depts/oar/undergrad/tuition_undergrad/tuition_ug_fal07_spr08.html

Just glad I'm locked in at around $6,600.
The University is saving up to buy out Jimmy's contract.
