I'M SICK OF PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT ACADEMICS!!!!!
THERE ARE MANY ACADEMIC-LACKING SCHOOLS THAT ARE BASKETBALL POWERHOUSES (CINCINNATI, LOUISVILLE, MISSISSIPPPI STATE, ETC.) but why doesn't anyone rip on them?
save all the damn academics talk. this is basketball. study, get good grades in school, and enjoy college basketball.

I suggested a random board a long time ago where we could talk about whatever., I still think its a good idea. We could talk about anything from academics to baseball to politics.

What is so wrong with talking about academics??? People don't have to respond or read if they don't want.
It is generally a discussion about either someone wanting some information to make a well informed decision or a rival school fan talking BS. I don't see where it hurts in either case.
Yes, UIC is better than NIU both in bball and academically.

I don't mind the academic talk either...we've got nothing to hide. I don't think we've had too much non-basketball talk on here....it's just been kind of bundled up together in the last week or so....

lol lol, MIT's basketball team would probably get beat by my high school team.
MIT, U of Chicago, NYU, etc. are all in the same league/conference, aren't they? lol, athletics are a joke at all of these institutions.

Yes, please. Basketball or -- for that matter -- sports only.
