Wow - what a day....Butler and Cleveland tie, allowing UIC to slip into first place with a hard-fought win over Loyola.

The HL tournament starts next week with the semis and finals to be played at Flames Field. I hope the bye and time off doesn't take the edge off UIC's game. But I am thrilled we will get another home game, because I'm just not ready for soccer season to end.

Congratulations Flames! Great result, great season, and let's win the tournament!

I had a feeling that Butler wouldn't win at CSU, and that we'd end up taking conference. And it happened!

Minus the little hiccup in the middle of the season, great regular season by UIC soccer....again. Congrats to all!

Now we host the tourney, and I hope we get another crack at Butler in the title game, so we can pound them en route to a top 16 bid, a first round bye, and an NCAA tournament home game.
