...will we play a complete game in any of our remaining games? For the first half of the season, we usually played a great first half and then took off the second half. Now for the past two games, we appear to not care during the first half, and then come out and play tough D in the second half. Tonight, Elliott Poole was benched after Dick Nagy said he was playing with no energy....then Jimmy gives him a talking to and he's an animal in the second half.....can he not play a whole game?....this type of play/attitude is not going to translate into many wins.....is it that hard to play tough, motivated ball, day in and day out...I mean, we should've learned our lesson about taking teams lightly (UWP).....
If we keep up this trend we will not beat Detroit this week....again, how many threes are we going to give them? How many more free throws are Ced and Williams going to miss (Ced missing 5 in a row is inexcusable)......it's almost pointless for me to keep complaining because they never fix anything.....yes, we played pretty good in the second half, but this is at home against CSU and we were tied at halftime....had we taken care of business in the first half, we might get some minutes for our bench (White, Bowen, Bush, who I believe scored no points)....
Overall, a win's a win....but if we're going to compete with the top half of the league we better get it together.

Actually I thought we lacked a few things. Again, we couldn't run any offense. I was at the game, and it seems like a lot of times we couldn't run our offense. Most of our points came from turnovers, missed basketball on the other end, drives, or offensive rebounds. Rarely would we run a set play and score. That's sad. On the other had, I thought we played great defense. It was great. We should press more, but if we do, Poole won't be able to play long. He lacks endurance. We also had a lot of assists. But I think that came from what I mentioned above. So, I wasn't too happy with our play tonight. The friend who was with me agreed.

just wanted to post some things before I forgot. First off we played like s@#! in the first half, Im so sick of watching us play down to a teams level. We cant do that any more its time Jimmy give his speech before the second half cause this team looked bad.
Thank GOD we came and played in the second half. Since Stomper had 100 dollars on the line, and was mia. But I felt this team came alive and pressed really well. Cant see us winning on Thursday if we come out the same way.
On a side note, one of the Assistant coaches for CSU threw a chair into the first row not sure why. And then another time knocked one over. Also im not sure who runs the team there since I seen about 5 coaches up on the side line. But you can see that CSU is becoming better.

"Most of our points came from turnovers, missed basketball on the other end, drives, or offensive rebounds."
Sounds like the Flames are at least playing good D if they're scoring points off of those scenarios.
