This Thursday is a big game! 7:00 P.M. in the Pavilion! Everyone should be there! Bring a friend, bring two, and let's get loud because Thursday is a big one.

I agree. This game is HUGE and will indicate the current status of the team. Are the losses behind us or are we truly struggling this year? This game will let us know. We need to show the team our support.

Without a doubt, this is our most important conference game to date. To me, this is a make-or-break game for UIC....if we win, then we stay in the mix with a chance to win conference. If we lose, then we fall two games behind Detroit and more than two games behind UWM and UWGB (pending today's outcomes).
I know we have lost to Detroit three straight times, including at the Pavilion last year. Right now, they are smashing Loyola at Loyola by 25 points at the half. They look awfully tough considering our lack of energy, as of late, and their dominance over us in the last two years.
So, I hate to be the pessimist, but I think we once again play only half of a game, and our beloved 4-game win streak comes to an end.
My prediction... Detroit-64, UIC-60 Points: Armond - 15 Rebounds: Stefanov - 6 Assists: Collum - 4 Minutes for Karl White: 7

The Flames will have their work cut out for them after what Detroit did at Loyola. Granted, the Flames are not as weak as the Ramblers, but the Flames need to open up everyone's eyes in the HL with a win.
I bet Detroit will be the kind of team the Flames will see in the HL Tourney.

i'll definitely be there, and I'm bringing 3 friends.
we better take this game this time. i'm sick of losing to detriot...we need to teach them who the real owners of the horizon league is.

what the heck is up with detroit and them getting big recruits? did anyone hear about someone named Brandon Bell? I don't know much about Bell, but he's transferring to Detroit from Marquette. he might even be eligible starting next season...

I think we will win this game and carry that momentum on to the big road games coming up. If we get through the stretch coming up we are golden.
