Mr. Administrator:
Now that the Baseball season is officially underway with the release of the 2009 Schedule, how about giving Baseball its own Category, much like you did for Soccer?
I think recent successes merit an upgrade from the "Off Topic" category on the board.

Good idea Circle....but how about a site name change of our own......who's browsing for soccer and baseball info/site at UIC HOOPS.com, shouldn't we now be UIC SportsTalk.com or something of the like to encourage all sports folks to enter. What was a basketball site has grown and expanded...... A baseball only location makes sense inside hoops.com in any sense, as well......

Years ago it used to be uichockey.com where they discussed basketball...then in the mid 90s they had to divert funds to improve the success of the basketball program. So the site and all things hockey went with it. True story.  |

I see where the Baseball team is a unanimous pick by the coaches to win the HL this season.
(One vote went to Wright State only because coaches can't vote for their own team--a dumb rule)

I agree with Circle. Hell, it's not like Basketball is deserving so much attention now-a-days.
