Big DH today versus Milwaukee. Fortunately, we won Game 1
5-4 on a run in the bottom of the 9th inning. If we win game 2, we would have a 4 game lead on Milwaukee with 5 games to go.
A loss to UWM in game 2 would not only get Milwaukee back to within 2 games, but they would have the advantage in that their last 5 games are all versus last place Butler (God, it feels good to say "last place Butler"), the last 3 of which are at Milwaukee.
UIC, on the other hand, finishes up with 5 road games: 2 @ Cleveland State and 3 @ Valpo. Things could get interesting.
A #1 seed would be nice, but there will be no home field advantage as the tournament is held @cleveland State. Also, if we don't win the tournament, no at-large birth will be forthcoming. Let's hope we continue our streak.
