I saw that! Yeah, I'm very excited about the upcoming season. You know what? I wouldn't be surprised if a publication has UIC ranked pre-season top ten. However, if I remember correctly, College Soccer News had UCSB as a pre-season number 1 last year. I think we all know how their season went. The top ten was loaded with returning players.
Northwestern cracked the top ten I believe. Too bad they aren't on the schedule this season. That would have been a great cross town match up!

Using the College Soccer News Pre-season rankings, we have three opponents this season that are ranked. We face #28 Louisville on the road, and we host #25 Michigan State and #6 Akron.
