UIC's recruiting class was ranked as #29 in the country by College Soccer News. Interestingly, Butler comes in at #40.

Bubonja has also made the Hermann Trophy Watch List for the 2nd consecutive year...congrats to him!

The NSCAA rankings came out yesterday and UIC is pre-season #10. Northwestern came in at #9. Looks like we have some nice clubs once again in the Chicago area. I'm looking forward to the start of the season!

Can't wait for the season to start. I was just at a Fire game and noticed that Baggio Husidic is listed on the program as from "University of Chicago-Illinois". I thought of this message board when I read that.

Good Lord. The Fire plays us in recent summers in a charity event, they draft our player, and they don't respect us enough to do the one minute of research required to make sure the school name is correct?

Can nobody from UIC athletics contact the Fire and have them change the name? People (more importantly, soccer people, who might have soccer kids) buy programs and read them....it would be nice it they knew where Baggio was really from
