First time ever on Fox Soccer Channel on September 13th...preseason #10 UIC at preseason #25 Louisville...NSCAA game of the week! Pretty awesome! Incredibly impressive. This isn't like college basketball that televises a plethora of games during their season. I believe that Fox Sports Soccer has a weekly game only and to be included in one of those is just another real testament to where this program is!

Anybody watch the game on TV?
UIC looked pretty content playing defense in the 1st half. Hardly any time on the offensive end at all. Then Louisville scored. Charlie Trout came back a little later to tie it up. Kevin Stoll had a chance to win it for us in the 2OT, but he hit it high over an open net.
Tie on the road against the #17 team is a result. But we need to win one. Stoll had the chance, it just didn't go in.
I thought we outplayed them in the OTs.
If today was any indication, we are solid defensively, as usual, but we have offense issues. We can't keep possession, and I'm not sure we had a single corner all day...maybe 1. Louisville had about 10. Trask mixed things up with the lineup and later on our offense looked better. Hopefully, he found a combo that makes us more of a complete team.
