Another lead lost

So far, this season certainly hasn't played out how most of us expected it to. Another 3-goal game for the opposition...another lead had and then lost, although this time, UIC did play shorthanded after Trout received a red card.
We're definitely at the point where we have to win the HL tourney to get to the postseason, and it seems that in the HL any team can win any night...so the odds of UIC winning it are no better than anyone else's.
Next up...Ohio State in Columbus. We're looking at a possible 3rd loss in a row.
I just don't understand the huge difference in results between this year and last year. Our defense, on paper, is probably even better this year than last year's....but we've struggled.
