5th seed?

UIC finished 5th in the HL! What in the hell happened this season? Even if we were having a rebuilding year, which we weren't, are we worse than 4 other HL teams? And we gave up 4 goals at Detroit today!? Has this ever happened under Trask?

Well, the season comes down to just a couple games....first at CSU...we'll see what happens. But even if we do make it to the tourney, we're going to get a miserable first round matchup. That's getting too far ahead though. We've struggled so much, I'd be shocked if we made it to the HL finals.

Very disappointing season....sad to see the premier sport at UIC finish so low in the HL.

They're just following in the footsteps of last year's Men's Basketball team.

It seemed like just yesterday that I went to watch the first home game. UIC was ranked in the Top 10. Expectations were high. There was an article on College Soccer News that talked about National Championship hopes and dreams at UIC. UIC fans in the stands were making predictions based on the night never thinking UIC would give up 3 goals to UAB. There was also talks and promises made about possible trips to the College Cup not if but when UIC made it.

And how quickly things went downhill. A scary sign looking at our record of 6-6-6.
