When are we going to hear who the new coach is? Has anyone heard any news/rumors?

From what I read over over at Big Soccer, Phillips will get the job officially tomorrow. I think that is a great choice. Sean certainly deserves it!

It's official...Sean Phillips is named head coach of UIC soccer! Congrats to Sean!

Let's hope he can keep it going....and we'll see what he can do right away, as the upcoming year appears to be somewhat of a rebuilding year.

Well, it all makes sense and quite frankly the man who seemingly deserved the job. Kind of reading more and more about how much Sean Phillips really had to do with the UIC teams of the recent past and feel like he should get a ton of credit and is now rewarded as so. Basically reading that he is the one who discovered and recruited Jovan and had a ton to do with the recruiting and in game play making so feel good with the hire and a man who really deserved it.
