This year's baseball team is tough to figure out. In 20 games, thus far (6-14), the pitchers have given up 10 or more runs in 11 of the games, including outings of 20 and 25 runs. (Horrible Flames)
On the bright side, they have won 4 of their last 5 games, including tonight's 6-1 home win against Northwestern. (Good Flames)
In those 4 wins, the pitchers have given up a total of 17 runs, dropping the overall team ERA under 10.00 for the first time this season. (hey, it's a start).
In addition, some of the blowout losses have resulted in the Freshmen pitchers being given a chance to show their stuff and Suminski, Weinberg, and Begel have done well these last few games.
Hopefully, the nightmare start will just be a bad memory, and the remainder of the season will be mostly the Good Flames.

They will figure it out...it had been a rough few outings, they will get it when they need it!
