The 3 game series @ Wright State is being televised on the HLN.
I always thought the current UIC Basketball announcers were horrible. They don't even compare to the Wright State Baseball announcers. The play-by-play guy is absolutely atrocious. A home run by WSU was called as a 400 YARD shot--not once but twice.
Anyway, we're up 6-1 in the 3rd inning.

We lost today's doubleheader by scores of 14-3 and 14-10.
That makes 17 games (out of 32) that our crack pitching staff has given up 10 or more runs.
Prediction: When we play @ #6 Georgia Tech next month, assuming all 3 games are played and none are shortened due to weather or the "Slaughter Rule", the Yellow Jackets will score at least 60 runs in the series.
An interesting sidebar in this series will be if Garcia pitches. He has given up 17 home runs in 48 innings (by far the worst on a pitiful pitching staff). Georgia Tech is 2nd in the country in home runs. Sounds like potential batting practice.

The WSU series was a big one for us. We started off well and took game 1, but WSU was too much today. Would've been nice to take 2 of 3...WSU was predicted to take the HL this year.
What is with the pitching? Just awful.
