Looks like UWM took care of WSU on the road which is something we could not do. They certainly were not looking ahead to UIC..Its gonna be an awfully tough game this Saturday, UIC will have to play there best game of the season and UWM will have to play really really bad for us to have a chance. Anyone have any thoughts?

Hey Bballnut....welcome to the board. Not sure if you're a new fan, but you're about to experience a game with our biggest rival. Although I'd love to see us play like we did against Butler, I just don't think it's going to happen on the road, especially against the best team in the Horizon. I guess one thing we have going for us is that we have Collum playing this time around as opposed to McGee. Collum is really doing a great job and he can score....which is key for us. They're not going to be able to leave Rocky open to help Banks, otherwise he will knock down the three. I still believe we have the best individual talent in the league but we just can't seem to consistently play a team game. We really need this game because it would help in tie-breaker scenarios if there are any for the second/third seed. I think we play decent for a while in what may very well be Banks' and Williams' last ESPN game. Eventually though, I believe UWM will pull away and win by 10+ points

Hey Big D dont forget Armond has just playing his first game. And although he did not have a horrible night, he will be in better condition for this one. I also dont feel to good about the game, but with the Rock playing like he has we might be able to surprise UWM. If im not mistaken they lost to UDM, almost to WSU at home. I feel we are better then both of those teams. My biggest worry is can we handle the emotional pressures of the game. We did last year in March but we also had a huge student group there. This time its much different, but if we come to play and McCants is not lighting it up, and Tucker cont. to get in foul trouble we can pull it out. But your right this game is very important to tie breakers since UGB, and Detroit both have a win on them.

I agree.
Back to the original thoughts, there is absolutely no doubt that Saturday will be a tough game. Is it possible for UIC to win? Absolutely. Will we? I don't know. I hope so, but predictions aren't my thing. The differences in this for UIC are Rocky Collum and Armond Williams. Rocky is coming off of his best D 1 game and he needs to keep it up. Even if he doesn't score, he has to control the ball and distribute well! If UWM uses the press, he has to make sure that no turnovers are caused because of it. Ball control is key! Armond has to have a better game. The UWM game was his first and he should be in better game shape now. Of course, this team has played pretty poorly on the road this season, and no away game, at least in conference, will be this tough. This will be a good one and hope some more of you guys will be there!
