UWGB has a pretty good hold on second place...for now. As was discussed earlier, they have a tough schedule to end the season. They have a good majority of their games on the road still, as well as one at UIC. Second place is still very very attainable.

while it helps us in the conference standings, it hurts us in the RPI.
Unfortunately Detroit was one of the strongest teams we've beaten this year.

I agree. And even then, our RPI won't be affected as much were it will make a huge difference. Right now, we have to concentrate on getting the highest seed possible in order to get the most home games possible in order to give ourselves the best chance to get to the tournament finals.
