HL collapse...again?

What happened to the soccer season? UIC had a very nice non-conference season. But, they've completely fallen apart in the HL, topped off by a brutal loss to Detroit, whose only HL win is against us. Right now, UIC sits at #6 in the HL. Only the top 6 teams make the HL tourney.

I guess UIC can always limp into the HL tourney and manage to win it....but UIC should've been back on top this season....or at least top 2-3.

Games against Loyola and Milwaukee remain...both teams are fighting for the HL tourney lives.

The HL woes continue....we lost to a terrible Loyola team tonight...1-0.

Must win for UIC against UWM to have a shot at the HL tourney. And I believe we need to Butler to lose.

A win and only a win gets us in because no matter what Butler does we would be ahead of Milwaukee, Detroit and Loyola. I have watched these conference games. Thats a big iff though.

Definitely disappointing after a strong start to the season. I don't want to make any assumptions or anything because I haven't even made it to a game and only been able to watch a few, but the sign of good coaching is when a team gets better throughout the year. When a team starts getting worse, well....
