Well the next two weeks are very important, when it comes to keeping are thrid seed. Much rather have UWM play detroit in the semi's then ourselves. Plus the titans already took care of UWM earlier this year. And if we were to make it to the finals the championship is at the pav.
But back to the point at hand. Can we win our next four games. I see a major road block at CSU, since they have beat'n some a few teams this year at home. YSU should not be a very tough game. I still dont feel GB is really a second place team in this league. However they have managed to beat UWM which we could not do. Then we have Loyola and they have been playing very well.
I think we go 4-0, but I could see us going 2-2 at the very worst. Its very tough to beat a team on the road in the horizon. So a win over Loyola, UGB, and YSU should happen. But we all know the way we have been playing this year, nothing is for sure!

2-2 could actually keep the third seed. 3-1 would be great. I'm not counting on 4-0. You're right that being the third seed is very important as opposed to the 4th. Avoiding UWM and UDM could be a nice path for a team that's played mediocre.

After watching UIC this last game and following them this year they will be lucky to finish 2-2...I would say that is realistic. It does not matter who UWM isp laying in the tourney cuase they are gonna roll whoever they play. They are clearly much better overall than any team in the league. This is UWMs year hands down, last year was not, but they will win the league and the tourney and actually get a win for the HL in the Big Dance

The next four games are huge. With Wright State's win tonight over Butler, they move into the third seed (even though they're a game back in the loss column) because they own the tiebreaker with us.
Instead of the last four games, here's my prediction for the remaining conference games...
I think we beat YSU with little problem. If we lose to YSU, I think we can officially call it a season.[glow=red,2,300]1-0[/glow]
I also think we beat WSU as UIC will know how important that game will be as far as tiebreaker goes (plus they made us look pretty bad...look for Poole to have a huge UWM-like game against them). [glow=red,2,300]2-0[/glow]
I think we're also likely to keep Loyola winless at the Pavilion for the past X years even though they are much improved.[glow=red,2,300]3-0[/glow]
UWGB can go either way....and I think we'll likely lose 1 of 2 at CSU and Butler....[glow=red,2,300]5-1 or 4-2[/glow]
This would put us at 10-6 or at worst 9-7 for conference and in a good spot to take that 3 seed.....
If we come to play, there's no reason we can't finish at 3. Question is "will we come to play?"

Yea, if we came to play we'd take out any HL team, easily.... how nice would that be to heat up during the HL tournament..... piss off some more farmers, lol...

Yea, if we came to play we'd take out any HL team, easily... I agree 100%.....it's real frustrating to know that UIC is underachieving....if the season were to end today, it would probably be the most disappointing season I've witnessed. Although us losing to UNC-Charlotte in our first tournament was pretty tough for me to swallow too.

Over the rest of the season I thin we will finish 5-1, the only game I really dont want to play is in Butler. Sure we beat them the last two times up there, but they always scare me. 5-1 is a lock for a third spot. Then anything can happen and most likely will

Then anything can happen and most likely will If we go on a tear now, we'll be streaking at the right time like last year I think second place isn't out of the question. GB's record is pretty much based on winning games at home, they still have to hit the road. We could just as easily end up playing sub .500 as winning out. I think this team will pull itself together though. Rocky looked bad against milwaukee because of the atheleticism. Man did we miss martell, really took him for granted, and joe scotts ability to alter shots. I think rocky will be able to operate unhindered against the remaining competition. If we play UWM again in the tourmanent They will need karl white in there more often just so there is an extra ball handler for the press, and jovan to inbound. That really hurt that he missed the second half, he can see over the defender to inbound and is a nice passer.

I just wish he was a little further along offensively than he is. Jovan is key for the press, but for us to win the majority of the remaining games, he's gonna have to play some ball. His offense was pretty bad against UWM. How many times did he leave his feet and blindly shoot into a defender's arms?.....not good.
