Georgetown visits UIC tonight in a tought test for the Flames. At times UIC has shown some promise. A win against Ohio State on the road, lost to Marquette in Milwaukee but outshot them by a pretty good margin. But then a loss to DePaul by giving up a late goal is part of the lows. Georgetown comes in undefeated at 4-0 and ranked #13. Hopefully a good crowd as it seems the rain might hold off.
And just as I'm about finishing this UIC takes a 1-0 lead. Nice.

...and an epic collapse. Not good!
For a defensive-minded team, a 2-0 lead at halftime should hold up.
Ugh, UIC soccer has been so frustrating over the past four years!

Had to head out when we were up 2-0. Checked the score this morning. I had no doubt we won. I thought maybe a small chance they came back and tied it.
Lost.
Pathetic.

If you can't possess the ball you are going to struggle holding a lead.
