I wasn't able to listen to the game tonight but from the box score it appears as if Elliott Poole pleyed another solid game (2 games in a row). It would be key for us to have him playing well these next couple of weeks. We all know he has the tools to be the best in the Horizon, but I still question his motivation and work ethic.
Also, what happened against YSU? We only won by 6? Something is not looking good. We should be blowing them out.

Yea Elliott played a GREAT game, Armond on the other hand......not so great, he got benched for a good amount of time in the second half but I found out after the game that he wasn't feeling too well apparently. And Youngstown played some decent ball tonight, but not as good as the score reflects. UIC was up 15 at one point and let up, basically that was the story of the night, UIC letting up.....I could be wrong though, but from my standpoint, thats how I felt.

Ill debate you guys on this one, he let that fat ass #44 look like he was a legitimate college B ball player and this guy couldnt even be a star in rec ball. Elliot got to play on both ends of the floor and be more consistent through out the game

But I agree with you. Elliott Poole has looked pretty bad on defense this year. I wish he would just play his heart out all the time. Wasn't he the one playing Sheldon Williams in the Duke game...he did a great job in the first half.

He could be dominant, but he's just slow sometimes. I think he has mental lapses, or he just stops playing, because everytime I see him put his back to the basket, turn in and lay it up, it works so well. Everytime he stops thinking, he looks like he doesn't belong on the floor.

Everytime he stops thinking, he looks like he doesn't belong on the floor. So how do you know when he's thinking? That's quite a talent.
