quiety CSU is putting together a nice season. They are currently the #4 seed in the Tourny Bracket and 1/2 game behind us for the #3 seed.
Needless to say, a win on Saturday is a must for us!

For the first time in a long time there is some optimism here in Cleveland. We have won 5 of 6 and are 7-2 at home, losing to Kent State (after leading by 19) and UWGB by 7. CSU is a different team now that we are healthy - patrick tatham has only played once vs UIC and is a difference maker (career high at Butler yesterday). Will be a tough game (remeber csu was tied with uic at the half earlier). good luck - looking forward to seeing banks first hand in a match up of two first teamers.

I'd say that's pretty exciting for you guys...and good, in all honesty. I've been watching MCC/HL basketball for a few years now, and CSU has always been so terrible. It'll be good to see CSU make some noise in the upcoming years, and possibly even this year.

And I think they have a very good recruiting class coming in. They are going to be tough. But they do lose the leagues top scorer this year

You are right about the recruiting class - J'Nathan Bullock is Flint, Michigan's city scoring leader. Ije Nwakwo is a transfer from Purdue who was a top 100 player out of high school and Terry Walker, one of Michigans leading shot blockers averaging more than 5 blocks a game.
Only 2 seniors in the playing group, the question is will tatham continue his improvement and will nwankwo deliver some scoring.

A couple of months ago, I thought the game at CSU was an automatic win for us. Then they come to the Pavilion and play point-for-point with us for the first half. Then they proceed to go on a tear in the Horizon, beating some teams that would have blown them out in the past.
Now, with UIC playing mediocre, and with Armond and Ced not feeling well, I'm not too confident going into tomorrow. I'm hoping we can pull off a big win because we need to gain a little momentum going into the tourney.

Up at the half. Were playing very well on the boards, and shooting 50+%. This is what we need to do every game. Im a little surprised how well Justin's playing, It's about time. Well I hope Armond rests up tonight and is ready for the rest of the stretch.
