If anyone is interested, the entire UIC series @ Santa Clara is being streamed live. In tonight's game, UIC is up 4-1 after 4 innings.

I did see that and unfortunately missed all of tonight's game. I am hoping to catch some of tomorrow's though.
I'd say a great start to the season. We went 1-2 against Texas A&M but they were ranked #24 coming into that game and we were in every single one of them. And Santa Clara is no power house this season but they're still a warm weather team that has had more practice time than we have and we beat them in the first game of the series. A 2-2 start is pretty darn good so far. Hope we can get a split tomorrow (or a double header win if I'm being greedy!)

Maybe that Curtis Granderson donation and the future Granderson Stadium has these guys fired up! Just kidding! Whatever the reason, let's hope they keep it up. Go Flames!

We split the DH on Saturday. Took the series 2 out of 3 and are now 3-3 for the season against warm weather teams. That's like 5-1 against the HL. Let's hope we can keep it up.

Definitely a great start to the season.
A real test coming next weekend when we play Vanderbilt (7-1) who I last saw ranked #4 in the country.
