I don't follow the team as closely as others here, but I can't imagine we're going to be much different than we've been during the last few seasons. We'll probably struggle scoring goals, and though we'll call ourselves a "defensive" team, we're going to give up lots of goals. I expect that we'll play decently out of conference and then fall apart in conference, which seems to be UIC's M.O. across a number of sports.
You have to wonder if this is Coach Phillips last chance. I mean, we haven't done well under his leadership.

Unfortunately, that looks pretty spot on. I try to follow the soccer program but just seems so secretive that I'm never really sure what to expect.
