So we started with a nice comeback win against Wisconsin, but then got shut out at home 2-0 by NIU. I'm pretty sure NIU has had our number over the past few years which has been very disappointing, exhibition or not.
More of the same quotes from Phillips.."we created chances...we gained experience...blah blah blah." If we don't capitalize on our chances and win games, who cares...
Can anyone that has actually seen the team comment on their play? Are we in for another average year? I'm guessing the answer to that is "yes"...no reason to believe this year will be any different than the past few. I hope I'm wrong, but man this program has fallen hard.
