Hats off to coach Phillips and the entire UIC squad. With the 1-0 win at Oakland tonight, UIC clinched 1st in the HL. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised after having had a few rough years in a row. I really hope we can get back to the NCAA tournament and at least give ourselves a chance. We've put ourselves in a position to do that...now let's get it done.

All of this is great, but if we miss the tournament, I will be extremely disappointed. Although...we may be setting ourselves up for an at-large should we collapse in the HL tourney, which UIC will host.

Congratulations to our soccer team! Hopefully they can continue the success and win the conference tourney and get back to the NCAA's! That was a lot of fun watching those games when UIC made deep runs in the tourney! UIC was one Bubonja injury away from makimg the Final Four. I still remember when he got hurt before the North Carolina game to go to the Final Four. The guys still played great and almost won but having Bubonja out cost them the game. looking forward to enjoying the rest of the season. Also, the core of this team is very young! A lot of frosh and soph's making big contributions! promising for the future?

I will second what was said in the previous post - there is a lot of young talent and big contributions coming from them already. A rough few years after we were all really spoiled bit definitely glad to see us on the rise again.

Hoping we have a great showing in the tournament and with us hosting it we have no excuse. We are still in the HL (no offense but we are not a soccer power house conference) and will need to win the tournament to make it to the NCAAs. Will check the schedule and hope to make it to a game!
