UIC completes the sweep of Chicago State and sits at 10-4 including an RPI of 58. However, that RPI won't last as we all know come conference time.
Records as of today:
UIC 10-4 Wright State 8-6 Milwaukee 4-10 Northern Kentucky 3-12 Oakland 2-12 Youngstown State 1-13
To say that this is a 2 team race is putting it lightly. Youngstown State, for example, is on an incredible streak of 13 losses!
Side note - years ago when we were rumored to be MVC bound I was very excited about the MVC for baseball purposes. Those records are a case in point.

So true. The MVC is a pretty good baseball league. I believe we would've been competitive from the start.

What I find interesting is that the RPI for Wright State is 138. I would have guessed it would be lower. Also, when was the last time UIC had 10 wins this early in the season? Could we finally hit the 40 win mark this year?
