The coaching staffs third recruit is a transfer from Xavier. At 6’9”, 240 points, Sasa Ciani had the size for sure.
Stats aren’t too impressive at 2.5 PPG and 2.9 RPG in just over 13 minutes per game. But was a Freshman that did start a few as well.

I know his numbers aren't fantastic, but he’s got good size and he was a freshman in the Big East. I’ve watched some highlights of his and he does some work in the post, and he can pass. I think he’ll be more productive in the Valley. Some Xavier fans thought he very much improved. The $100,000 question is will we use him? Or, will we completely ignore the post like we did for the past four years? We need to have someone in the post that can score for us or we’re going to continue looking up from the bottom.
Another interesting thought is that I’m pretty sure international players are not eligible for NIL. Could it be a strategy to try to get some international guys in here since the ability for a power team to just pay them to transfer is out the window? Not that they can’t still transfer…but it just may be a bit harder to woo them.

Interesting point regarding the NIL and international players. I had no idea until the Zach Eddy story came out that was the case.
I can’t pretend like I’ve seen him or have any idea of Coach’s strategic thinking so for now I’ll operate on blind faith with that. I am concerned of the lack of commits and impact as well.

That's encouraging to hear Big D. Projected out his numbers aren't terrible for a freshman in the Big East. I have no doubt he gets time. Ehsan isn't Yak. I truly believe one of the top 5 moves that led to Yak's demise was not playing Fens more. I remember being at the SIU game and fans asking me why he doesn't play and I had no answer for them.
