Go to Peoria and get the sweep we needed and should have expected.

Evansville lost a game in their series so we are now tied with them for 2nd place.

Another series next week we should do well in against Illinois State while Evansville travels to Indiana State for a very tough series. Should be a good chance for us to make up some ground.

It would be nice to beat Purdue tonight. Our RPI has dropped close to 20 spots starting with the 20-0 Valpo blowout, despite the sweep of Bradley. Went from last 4 in the tournament to being outside looking in now. Purdue is ahead of us in the RPI so a win might move us up a bit.

Heard that starting 3B Rayth Petersen may be coming back this week (after injury in Indiana St series) so that would be a boost.
