MVC Tournament

We are all disappointed in how UIC finished the season and as a result of their recent play slipped all the way to #5 seed (after almost having a sure feel that they'd be #2)

They opened the MVC tournament yesterday with a 9-8 win over Missouri State. UIC trailed most of the game until the 8th inning when we took a 9-7 lead after a Garrett Kay grand slam!

UIC continues play this evening as they play Murray State. UIC is 2-1 against the Racers this year with their last game being a slaughter rule victory last month.

The bad pitching is going to cost us at some point. Even though we won last night, we gave up 6 runs in one inning. That has been our problem as of late. Eventually, one of those will end your season.

Btw, congrats to Kendal Ewell for being named Valley POY! Hit another homer yesterday and broke the team record.

Indiana State lost last night. We need to win today so we don't play them 1 hour later for elimination. Things could open up for us with a win

After a 2 hour delay, UIC beat Murray State 12-2. Will play Evansville tomorrow at 11.

Still getting used to how the tournament works and I could not see an updated bracket.

But that was a huge win, considering if we lost, we would’ve played right after against Indiana State for elimination.

Can rest up after a weird few days of weather

Nice to see the offense, put some numbers up on the board today and do it in a fashion where we didn’t have to play all night innings

And the pitching has again imploded as we are now down 9-1 to Evansville. How can we not figure them out? It doesn't help that our offense has been silent.

It is bottom of the 6th but I don't see how a comeback happens.

Now we play Indiana State for an elimination game later today.

Disappointing end to the season.

Granted we were picked last in the preseason.

We lose a TON of talent.
